Microsoft is releasing Windows 11 update adding its new AI-powered Bing search to the taskbar, alongside other features including Phone Link for iOS, a touch-optimized taskbar, improved widgets, a screen recording feature, and tabs inside Notepad.

• OpenAI released ChatGPT and Whisper APIs, developers can now integrate these models into their products.

• Hugging Face and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have partnered to democratize machine learning by providing developers access to AWS's SOTA tools, such as Amazon SageMaker, AWS Trainium, and AWS Inferentia.

• Bain & Co. has partnered with OpenAI to provide clarity on the potential business applications of generative AI and strategically guide their clients on its adoption and integration.

• Tome, which uses AI to generate presentation slides, has raised $43m in a Series B funding round to help the firm launch its enterprise version this year.

• Anthropic has begun offering partners access to its AI text-generating models (not sure if it’s Claude), with Robin AI, a legal tech startup, becoming the first commercial venture to integrate Anthropic models for drafting and negotiating contracts.
