Cloudflare Propels Next-Gen AI Development 🚀

In a series of announcements, Cloudflare has unveiled an innovative full-stack AI platform, accompanied by strategic partnerships, empowering developers to build and deploy cutting-edge AI applications with unprecedented ease and efficiency.

Key Highlights:

• Cloudflare has launched a comprehensive end-to-end platform for developers to build full-stack AI applications on its network.

  • Workers AI: Industry-first first serverless AI at scale, enabling low-latency AI inference close to users.

  • Vectorize: A global database for AI workflows, reducing latency in vector queries and integrating with the wider AI ecosystem.

  • AI Gateway: Offers observability and cost management for AI applications, helping developers monitor traffic and control scalability with caching and rate limiting.

• Cloudflare is collaborating with NVIDIA for GPUs for hyper-local AI inference and low-latency, Hugging Face for easy model deployment, Microsoft for flexibility to deploy models across devices, networks and clouds, Databricks for MLflow integration, and Meta to bring Llama 2 to Cloudflare's Workers AI worldwide.

Amazon’s “Fully-managed Generative AI Service” 💼

Amazon has launched its Bedrock in general availability, comparable to Google’s Vertex AI platform, allowing AWS customers to build apps with pretrained AI models and integrate them with proprietary data. In the coming weeks, Llama 2 along with models from AI21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere and Stability AI will also be available on Bedrock.
