ChatGPT can now browse the internet to provide you with current and authoritative information, complete with direct links to sources. It is no longer limited to data before September 2021.

Browsing is available to Plus and Enterprise users today, and we’ll expand to all users soon. To enable, choose Browse with Bing in the selector under GPT-4.

Meta announced a heap of generative AI features at its Connect event.

Key Highlights:

• AI Stickers: New customized AI stickers that users can generate are being introduced across various apps, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and Facebook.

• AI Image Editing: Restyle and Backdrop in Instagram will allow users to describe visual styles or backgrounds they want, and the AI will generate the desired image.

• Meta AI: A conversational AI assistant available on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and coming soon to smart glasses and Quest 3. It provides real-time information, image generation, and interactive experiences.

• AI Characters: In addition to Meta AI, there are 28 more AIs with unique personalities and interests on the above apps, some of which are portrayed by cultural icons and influencers.

• AI Studio: Will support AI creation for coders and non-coders, allowing developers, businesses, and creators to build AIs; a sandbox for AI creation will follow, fostering AI growth in the metaverse.

• Ray-Ban smart glasses: Boast AI-powered capabilities such as voice-activated interaction with Meta AI, seamless livestreaming to social media platforms, and enhanced audio and video recording.

• Meta Quest 3: Offers breakthrough mixed reality, higher visual resolution, and enhanced audio for an immersive experience.
